Welcome to Sub-Saharan Scribbles, a blog about culture and life overseas based in Kigali, Rwanda.
I'm the author, Naserian Ferguson. I have a passion for writing informative (and sometimes humorous) stories about my experiences growing up and living overseas. I'm currently based in Rwanda, but have also lived in Ecuador, Costa Rica, and a bit in Kenya as well. I love getting to experience other cultures, find interesting spots, taste unique foods, study languages, and write poetry. Hopefully this blog will paint a picture of life in East Africa for those living afar.
